December 2009 - Stuart Highlanders are excited to announce that the Eastern United States Pipe Band association has upgraded the former Grade 3 band, to Grade 2.

The 2009 success of the band, and the quality and quantity of anticipated new members for 2010 contributed to the decision of the band leadership to apply for the upgrade.

With the upgrade, the goal of competing in Scotland at the World's in 2011 in Grade 2 is now confirmed.
